HubPages is a website designed around sharing advertising revenue for high-quality, user-generated content. The interface resembles predecessors like Squidoo, allowing members to create individual pages on narrow topics of general interest. HubPages differs from other blog networking sites by using the Google AdSense API to manage revenue-sharing with writers. tructure

Individual pages are referred to as hubs, and the authors are called hubbers. Hubbers retain all intellectual property rights for the materials they upload to their hubs, and they are encouraged to write about subjects which they can contribute to with personal experience and knowledge. HubPages hosts and moderates a forum where members discuss a large array of subjects including developments at HubPages. The website also offers a system which has been compared to Yahoo Answers [cite news |url=http://mashable.com/2007/07/02/hubpages-requests/ |title=HubPages Launches Yahoo Answers Rival |date=2007-07-02 |accessdate=2008-04-08 |publisher= [Mashable] ] where members can request for other hubbers to create hubs on specific topics.
