Kitchen Academy, a branch of California School of Culinary Arts, is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. The academy is located in the heart of Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard and the surrounding Los Angeles areas.
Academics
The former Kitchen Academy – Hollywood was a Professional Culinary Arts Program where students could earn a Professional Culinary Arts Diploma. It has recently been purchased by Le Cordon Bleu and is in a transitional phase.
Professional Culinary Arts (PCA) ProgramStudents can earn a diploma in Professional Culinary Arts in as little as 30 weeks through the Accelerated Training System. Once the student has successfully completed the program, they should be qualified for a culinary or hospitality entry-level position.
Admission
The Kitchen Academy - Hollywood enrolls participants able to merit and benefit from the educational activities offered. All prospective students must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, complete admission documents and pass the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam with a 13 or higher test score. Those who do not pass this exam on the first attempt must wait one week before retaking the exam. The facilities of Kitchen Academy – Hollywood consist of industry-current equipment and workstations. These stations were designed specifically for Kitchen Academy and feature:

*Conference, Break and Copy/WorkroomsThe classes at Kitchen Academy are designed to be intimate and succeed in doing this by having a maximum of 32 students in a class, maintaining a 16:1 student to chef instructor ratio.

Kitchen Academy is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award diplomas.
