Franjo Šimić

Franjo Šimić (born May 25 1900 near Gospić, died August 9 1944 in Mostar) was a Croatian colonel, and later general, in the Croatian Home Guard. Šimić retook Šuica and Tomislavgrad in August of 1942. He was allegedly assassinated in Mostar in 1944 under unknown cicumstances.
