Live Online: Messenger News
On November 22, 2006 Live Online: Messenger news was launched hosted on Windows Live Spaces. The first post was "The History of MSN" a good introductory post featuring MSN from its beginnings, all the way to that point. Live Online: Messenger news lack lots of features, and it wasn't a blog at that time, it was an update service that posted when Windows Live Messenger was updated. they included some new features and started blogging on Windows Live Hotmail by December. Then they released Live News Toolbar 1.0 beta on December 16, an even though the blog was called Live Online: Messenger News, the toolbar was called Live News
Live News (The 1st Move)
On December 11, 2006 Agustin vera decided that he will move and rename Live Online in order for Live News to grow. On December 16, 2006 Live Online made the move, to a new location, still hosted by Windows Live Spaces. Their last post on the old website revealed that Agustin Vera's main language is Spanish, as he posted "Nos Mudamos" meaning "Me Moved" on it's post followed by the link of the new Live News. During this time (December 16 2006 - April 23, 2007) Live News brought new features and services, some of which still exist today. These services were Live News Community and Live News Knowledge Center. Live News Community was a community forum set up on a free hosting community, although Live News Community never got launched because of server errors, and Live News Knowledge Center was hosted on MSN Groups. Also Live News Toolbar got a big update when version 2.0 was launched, mainly because Agustin Vera changed the language in which he writes the toolbar.
Live News (The 2nd Move)
On April 24, 2007 Live News made a second move, this time hosting themselves on Google's Blogger service. They are currently hosted on this service through the URL [http://mes-newslive.blogspot.com] During this period (April 24, 2007 - Present) interesting stuff happened to Live News. Live News Knoledge Center got renamed to Live News Knowledge Center, same name but spelled correctly it was unspelled on purpose for fun reasons. Not only was it renamed it was also removed from MSN Groups, Live News Knowledge Center begain it's hosting on Google's Blogger service same as Windows Live. New services arrived, some of which are still live on Live News, these services included Live News IM Security Center, a Index or Site Map, Live News Updates Blog, Live News Feedback Center and a About Live News page, all of them hosted on blogger except Feedback Center which is hosted on "Theformassembly". Live News IM Security Center was suspended on for unknown reasons.
Wave I
Live News adapted the "Windows Live waves" system to update their services. Wave I was launched as beta on July 24, 2008 and as Agustin vera posted they're working on a second beta, Today Live News covers all Windows Live Services, all Live Search services, All Microsoft Live labs services and all Windows Live APIs services on news updates. Live News also provides numerous list of feeds from Google's feedburner service some users claim Wave I to be "One of the best things that ever happened to Live News"
Future of Live News
Claimed by Agustin Vera Live News will be moving for the 3rd time to a professional website, with paid hosting and it's own domain, He claims that it will not happen anytime soon.
