Supersport World Championship in WorldSS|2000. The same year he won the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, and theBol d'Or endurance races.In WorldSS|2001 he finished 8th in the
Supersport World Championship with two race wins and also finished 2nd at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and theBol d'Or endurance races.He won the
Supersport World Championship in WorldSS|2002 taking four race wins.He continued racing in the
Supersport World Championship from WorldSS|2003 to WorldSS|2005, finishing 9th in WorldSS|2003, 7th in WorldSS|2004 and 4th in WorldSS|2005 with one race win each season.He moved to the
Superbike World Championship in SBK|2006 riding for Alstare Engineering Corona Extra Suzuki, After a poor first half of the season he was replaced byMax Neukirchner .
