Yeoval is a small village in the Central Western district of New South Wales, Australia. The town lies in Cabonne Shire Council. At the 2006 census, Yeoval had a population of 292.Census 2006 AUS|id=UCL187600|name=Yeoval (L) (Urban Centre/Locality)|accessdate=2008-04-08|quick=on] The town was the childhood home of Australian poet Banjo Paterson, and many of his poems reflect the area. Yeoval railway station opened in 1925 [cite web | title = Molong- Dubbo Branch| url = http://www.nswrail.net/lines/show.php?name=NSW:molong_dubbo | publisher= www.nswrail.net | accessdate = 2008-04-07 ] on the now closed Molong- Dubbo railway line, and was sited to the north of the village.
