The airline also operated (mainly on a seasonal basis) from Glasgow, East Midlands, London Stansted and Newcastle airports to holiday destinations inEurope . The carrier also operated a small number of charter flights to Orlando inFlorida during the peak summer season. 1997 that started operations in May1998 . Originally aircraft were operated on its behalf byAir Cordial , whose Air Operators Certificate was suspended at their request from12 November 2004 . Air Scandic was Lapland Air ofFinland trading as Air Scandic. It suspended all flights and entered into liquidation in September 2005, leaving many of its customers stranded across Europe.Fleet
