"From the Cradle to the Grave" was the first single from the Manchester post-punk band, Crispy Ambulance.It was recorded on the Graveyard Studios in England and was released on April 1980 as a double A-Side on a 7" format on their self-made label Aural Assault after being initially rejected by Rough Trade and Factory Records.The idea of having a label made to release their first single came from Joy Division Manager Rob Gretton [ [http://home.wxs.nl/~frankbri/crisphis.html Crispy Ambulance Biography ] ] .
