Nepal Agriculture and Forestry University

The University of Agriculture and Forestry is a proposed independent educational institution to be based in Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal, that has been initiated and been approved by the government of Nepal. The idea is to merge the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science and its affiliated campuses in Sundarbazaar and Bhairahwa and the Institute of Forestry in Hetauda, Makwanpur, Nepal and its affiliated campus in Pokhara, Kaski, Nepal . All the aforementioned institutes and campuses are currently affiliated to Tribhuwan University.

The University of Agriculture and Forestry will formally be launched some time this year[when?].Office of the Vice Chancellor and Office of the Rector will be located in Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal.
