Sepideh Haftgoli

Sepideh Haftgoli is most known for being one of the Miss Iran title winners in 2005. Her beauty has been the topic of conversation in many magazines and newspapers.

Many have referenced her as "Dokhtar Shahri" or "The Persian Enchantress". Sepideh has the quintessential Iranian look from her very dark features, olive complexion and pure pitch black hair. On many Persian television stations, they have said she has a certain look that embodies the essence of a particular area in Iran, which would be a "Shahri" look and "Dokhtar" meaning girl, hence "Dokhtar Shahri". Sepideh garnered the title "The Persian Enchantress" by an entertainment industry professional which has worked with Sepideh.

Career

Sepideh started her career as a trained actress since she was in elementary school. She attended the prestigous American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Shortly after, she went to law school and graduated, obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree, with an emphasis in entertainment. She worked for the President of Creative Artists Agency, Richard Lovett, and then started her own Production Company, Fade To Light Productions (www.fadetolight.com). Meanwhile, Sepideh continued building her acting and modeling resume while also working full time on her other passions and the furtherance of her career as a filmmaker.

Sepideh started off working with many Persian TV stations, soon becoming the household face that many recognized on the street as their host, music video face or actress on a Persian soap. She shortly started simultaneously modeling and acting, landing a supporting role in the independent film BLUE AGAIN. She then was cast by famous Director Jerry Zucker in a series of his new webisode series National Banana. She has been in such series as: SANDS OF PASSION, THE SELF ESTEEM CHANNEL and THE ALL KISSING CHANNEL. The popularity of the website catupulted her fan base and soon brought her to the attention of a Director who cast her in an independent film, GERALDINE, which starts principal photography sometime toward the end of the year.

Most recently, Sepideh shot the opening credit sequence to Mike Myers' new film THE LOVE GURU which releases in theaters June 2008.

Personal life

Sepideh has been linked to actor David Schwimmer. The two had been reportedly dating.

Rumors also ensued between The Bachelor star, Dr. Andy Baldwin and Sepideh being a couple.

Sepideh's current relationship status is unknown.
