New Zealand .The house was built for Robert Hannah in 1905, a Irish immigrant from
County Antrim . Constructed mainly ofkauri and hearttotara on concrete foundations, Antrim House was (and still is) a fine example of an Edwardian Italianate house. The two-storey building with tower, topped with a mansard roof, was an impressive residence situated on a large section with garden and out-buildings.The building, is classified as a "Category I" ("places of ‘special or outstanding historical or cultural heritage significance or value") historic place by the
