Holipura

Holipura is a small village in Uttar Pradesh, India. It has a recorded history of 500 years. It had a population of about 1500 people till 1950. It has contributed two brigadiers, and one colonel to Indian army and one member to each of the three all India services (I.A.S., I.P.S. and I.F.S.). It produced a cricketer of repute who captained central zone and even adorned a test cap. It was the seat of a great saint swami Hari Hara Nandji who lived for three decades. It has produced a high court judge, a president of Calcutta stock exchange and a distinguished family of business men whose concerns were famous at Calcutta and Kanpur. Famous Hindi author Dr. Chitra Chaturvedi also belongs to this village. It has the distinction of providing three presidents to all India Chaturvedi sabha. Currently a number of youngsters have distinguished themselves as engineers, architect, and software specialist, doctors in India and abroad.Pandey Family in Faridabad (Named Sh.H.K Pandey belong to holipura) are one of the Known Textile Industrialist and their son (Sh.Priyanshu Pandey)is Touching heights in Health care Market Research Industry and by hobby known Haryana State Body Builder.
