Gérald J. Caussé

Gérald Jean Caussé (born 20 May 1963) has been a general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) since April 2008 and is the first person from France to become a general authority in the history of the LDS Church.

Caussé was born in Bordeaux. Caussé was president of the Paris France Stake of the LDS Church from 2001 to 2007. ["Church News", May 5, 2001.] In April 2007, he became an Area Seventy in the Europe West Area of the church. ["Church News", April 21, 2007.] On April 5, 2008 Caussé became a member of the church's First Quorum of the Seventy.

Caussé and his wife Valerie are the parents of five children.
