Bob Squires

Bob Squires is most widely known as the former lead guitarist for the rock band Beatlejuice owning two distinctly different musical personae. While attending Lowell University from 1974 till 1981 he was a classical guitar performance major and had won two silver medals in prestigious international competitions. Guitar '78 and Guitar '81 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada brought him instant recognition as well as his appointment as instructor at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire where he has taught from 1979 to the present.

His performances with Beatlejuice were mainly localized in Boston and vicinity but as solo concert artist he has performed in other countries. He has done frequent performances for the Boston Classical Guitar Society and other local venues in the Boston area including the Hammond Castle Museum, the Beauport Museum and the Cape Ann Historical Museum.
