Kenneth Nicholas, also known as Kenneth W. Nicholls, Irish
academic andhistorian .Formerly Profesor of History at
University College Cork , Nicholls is the author of the ground-breaking "Gaelic and Gaelicised Ireland in the Middle Ages", first published in 1972, reprinted 2003. His areas of professional interests include:* Late medieval and early modern Ireland, including topics such as
