Jacob Zambuhle Bhekuyise Dlamini was the last
Bishop of St John's to hold that title throughout his episcopate. He studied for thepriesthood at "St Bede’s College"Umtata and wasordained deacon in 1961 [Crockford's clerical directory Lambeth, Church House, 1975 ISBN 0108153674] andpriest two years later. He began his career with posts within the Diocese of Zululand before becomingArchdeacon ofEmpangeni .
