Fortesa Hoti

Fortesa Hoti, born 6 December 1988 in Kosovo, is a Swedish actress. She is best known for her role as "Roxana Nilsson" in the Swedish Television SVT’s drama series Andra Avenyn (2007). She was one of the winners of SVT’s broadcast competition for the teenagers' roles. She skipped the last year of school to take up the role, but hopes to go back to education later on. She was nominated as best female actor for 2007 by the newspaper Aftonbladet

She arrived in Sweden with her family in 1992 and now lives in Gothenburg. She is seen as a role model by many Albanian immigrants.
