Biography
After having studied at the "F. Liszt" music school in Budapest Francesco Lotoro has became a specialized piano player with Kornel Zempleni, Viktor Merzhanov, Tamas Vasary and
Aldo Ciccolini . His activity has been focused onJohann Sebastian Bach ; he has transcribed: the Musikalisches Opfer for two pianos, the Brandenburg Concertos, the Deutsche Messe and the 14 canons BWV1087; it worths to mention the remake of the Weihnachtsoratorium for solos choir and piano ofFriedrich Nietzsche . In the 1995 he marked up theOrchestra Judaica . Then he realized the project of collecting the entire piano literature produced in the second war world; beginning with the recording of all piano and camera plays written byAlois Pinos ,Petr Pokorny ,Petr Eben and others after thevelvet revolution , and mastering the KZ Music encyclopedia containing all of the music production composed in prisoning camps of the world war the second of: Europe, North Africa and Asia. He have built up the "Banca della Memoria" , the most complete file on concentrationary music literature. As composer he has written the play: "Misha e i lupi", inspired by theMisha De Fonseca 's life. He's completing the " Dizionario della Letteratura Musicale Concentrazionaria". He has been mentioned in the "Dizionario enciclopedico della Musica e dei Musicisti" by UTET.Discography
