Pisaroni grew up in
Busseto , Parma, Italy. He began his training at theConservatorio Giuseppe Verdi inMilan , continuing his studies inBuenos Aires with Renato Sassola and Rozita Zozulya, and inNew York .Career
Pisaroni's professional debut in the operatic world was in the title role of
Mozart 's "Le Nozze di Figaro " inKlagenfurt , in 2001. In the same year, he was awarded the Eberhard-Wächter-Medal as “Newcomer of the Season” by theVienna State Opera . Apart from the aforementioned roles, Pisaroni also has an extensive list of onstage performances to his credit, including Publio (from "
La Clemenza di Tito ") for the Salzburg Festival (with theVienna Philharmonic Orchestra ), Aix-en-Provence Festival, as well as at theMet , Colline (from "La Bohème ") and Leporello (from "Don Giovanni ") at theTeatro Real in Madrid and theOpéra Bastille , the latter being where he also performed Melisso (from "Alcina "), Figaro again at theMet , and theThéâtre des Champs-Elysées (at the latter, he performed once more as Papageno inMozart 's "Die Zauberflöte "), Guglielmo (from "Così fan tutte ") for the Netherlands Opera, theGlyndebourne , and the Salzburg Mozart Week, Alidoro (from "La Cenerentola ") in Santiago, Chile, and Achilla inHändel ’s "Giulio Cesare " forOpera Colorado .Concert
In concert, Pisaroni has sung Zebul in
Händel ’sJephtha with theBerlin Philharmonic , conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt. Also, he has performedMichael Haydn ’s "Requiem in C minor" under Ivor Bolton, andMozart ’s "Mass in C Minor " under Mark Minkowski, both at the Salzburg Festival. Furthermore, Pisaroni also hasPiccinni ’s "Iphigénie en Tauride " with the Orchestre National de France,Mozart ’sCoronation Mass at theThéâtre des Champs-Elysées , andVivaldi ’s "Orlando Furioso" inToulouse andBrussels under his belt, the last two with Jean-Christophe Spinosi.References
