Zora Young (b. January 21, 1948,
West Point, Mississippi ) is an AmericanBlues singer . She is a distant relative ofHowlin' Wolf .Young's family moved to
Chicago at age seven and sang gospel at the Greater Harvest Baptist Church. As an adult she began singingblues andR&B music, and over the course of her career played withJunior Wells ,Jimmy Dawkins ,Bobby Rush ,Buddy Guy ,Professor Eddie Lusk ,Albert King , andB.B. King . Among those she has collaborated with on record areWillie Dixon ,Sunnyland Slim ,Mississippi Heat ,Paul DeLay , andMaurice John Vaughan .Youg has toured Europe more than thirty times, in addition to appearances in
Turkey andTaiwan . She was the featured performer at theChicago Blues Festival three times.Discography
