Fibonacci (darts)

Fibonacci (darts)

Fibonacci is a dart game that uses the standard 20 number dartboard with the treble and double rings.

Gameplay

Fibonacci is typically played between 2, 3 or 4 players, or teams of players, although the rules do not discount more players. The goal of Fibonacci is to be the first player to throw all the Fibonacci numbers in sequence. Players take turns (3 throws per turn). Once a number is reached the player proceeds to the next number in sequence. The first player to hit all the numbers wins.

Fibonacci Numbers

Fibonacci requires a user to hit (in order) the first 8 numbers in the Fibonacci sequence. For the first throw, 1 must be entered with a double 1 (since 1 appears twice in the sequence). The number 21 must be entered as triple 7. The final number, 34 must be entered as double 17.
