María Del Cerro is an Argentine model and actress, and the ex girlfriend of Benjamín Rojas. Del Cerro became was found by agency Super M in 2002. Now, she is a promoter of companies like UFO and Ricky Sarkany. She got her first role in late 2007, and she wants to become popular actress.

Biography

María Del Cerro was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on March 20, 1985. Supermodel-in-the-making Maria, started her career when she entered and won the reality show contest Show Super M in 2002, organized by Ricardo Piñeyro. This lead her to several argentian important brands campaigns such as UFO, Ricky Sarkany, Ivana Picallo, Sweet Victorian, Muaa, Naffta, Union Good, Batido Express and Anca & Co. She also does runways and is currently represended by the agency Chekka of Buenos Aires.

María recently took over acting. She started off with a role in the soap opera Romeo and Juliet which aired on Argentina's Canal 9. On 2008 she landed the role of Melody on teen hit soap "Casi Ángeles", produced by Cris Morena.

The multi-talented beauty studied drama, dancing and singing and has been taking lessons with acting professor Joy Morris. She admits it gives her the confidence she needs to take the first steps in the career she really wants to pursue, acting. Currently María is taping the second season of "Casi Ángeles", which aired Monday to Firday on Telefé.

Private life

She was dating the actor and singer Benjamin Rojas for three years and they broke up in 2008.

Her favourite colour is blue, singer Bon Jovi, and songs "These Days" and "Lie to Me". Her favourite movie is "Jerry McGuire". She also love dancing, and admits she's afraid of the sea. Friends are calling her "Mery".
