main sequence yellow dwarf star. It was announced alongside WASP-6b to -15b in April 1, 2008 in the NAM 2008 conference. It was catalogued as part of the SuperWASP mission which discovered the transit ofWASP-8b .Star
The mass, radius, and luminosity of this star have not been published. A G5V of temperature 5600 K lines up to 0.93 sol mass, 0.93 sol radius, and 0.79 sol luminosity on the H-R diagram.
