With multipleacademic degree s, Lana Parshina initially worked as a Russian/English/Germaninterpreter who had worked on projects withLibrary of Congress , a freelancejournalist , and apublic relations consultant/crisis manager inNew York City . But, filmmaking was her passion and she left a vibrant career incrisis management to embrace her dream. She turned toNew York University Tisch School of the Arts to learn filmmaking.
