Peter Dixon Hiscock (born
27 March 1957 ) is a prominentAustralia narchaeologist . Born in Melbourne he obtained a PhD from the University of Queensland and took up a teaching appointment at the Australian National University. His research interests includelithic technology , the archaeology of prehistoric Aborigines inAustralia , and the study ofNeanderthal people.Bibliography
