Brief history

The club was founded in 1948 and has since won 15 championships and 7 domestic cups, which makes it the club with the most titles in France. The club managed to overcome financial difficulties in 1992, and has risen to the top of the Euroleague. They play their home games at "L'Astroballe", and done green and white uniforms.

Under the guidance of Greg Beugnot, ASVEL is now one of the best teams in France.
