Caleb Alexander is a character appearing in the Marvel Comics mainstream universe who is a marine biologist and a supporting character of Namor. He is notable in the past for helping Namor with distinctive cell trouble; he has even created a formula for curing some unpleasant effects on Namor's body. Later, he was known for defending the character in trial. Alexander first appeared in "Namor" #1 (1990).

Fictional character biography

Caleb Alexander grew up in Harlem, New York, during a time a few years after World War Two. The child spent most of his leisure time reading old comic books about heroes of the war, such as Captain America, the Human Torch, and his personal favorite, Namor. As a near-teenager, his parents bought a bike for Caleb that he very much enjoyed riding. One day, the three heroes of Caleb's comics were announced to be passing by the town, and Caleb took his bike to go and see them. He followed Namor, but did not pay attention to his direction and plummented into a river. Namor saved him from a fate of drowning, and Caleb discovered his deep interest in marine biology. Since, he has worked with Namor to both help and defend him with his daughter.
