Ilija Trifunović (born 1877 in Topola — died February 3 1943 in Split) was a Serbian soldier and voivode in the Chetniks.

He served in the Balkan Wars, as well as the First World War. He gained the rank of voivode within the Chetnik movement in 1916. From 1929 to 1932, during a period in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia when other political parties were banned, Trifunović served as president of the Association of Serb Chetniks for Freedom and the Fatherland.
