Rekatu

Rekatu

Rekatu means laughing out loud with your friends. Derived from the root katu, from Afan Oromo, a latin based language of Ethiopia. Rekatu in many regions simply refers to laughing out loud. However, the usage of the word as a noun refers to a group of friends laughing. Also, when used within the latin based context, many Hispano-American countries prefer the verb form rekatuir. In this instance, the word colloquially takes on the meaning "to attempt to sleep with a friend's teacher."
