Gawler Aerodrome

Gawler Aerodrome is an aerodrome located at Gawler, South Australia, Australia. The aerodrome is owned by the Light Regional Council of South Australia and operated by the Adelaide Soaring Club.

History

The aerodrome was built by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in 1941 during World War II and was a RAAF Station.

A Operations Building, Remote Receiving Building and Transmitting Building were constructed as part of the facilities.
