Glide is the name given to the solo project of Will Sergeant, who is better known as a founding member of Echo & the Bunnymen. Under the Glide moniker, Sergeant produces experimental, psychedelic instrumental music based around keyboard and electronic sounds. History

Sergeant's solo work began in 1978, producing the "Weird as Fish" cassette on a limited edition of seven copies. This was followed in 1982 with the "Themes for Grind" album . The first real Glide album came with the release of "Space Age Freak Out" (1997), and the early 2000s saw Glide often supporting the Bunnymen on tour. The most recent album, "Curvature of the Earth", was released in 2004.
