It is a stop on the
Lakeshore West line train service, and serves as a weekday peak-hour western terminus of the rail services. Most non peak-hour trains now terminate service at Aldershot, and a few trains link Hamilton further to the west. Bus connections to/from Aldershot and are still provided. There is a separate connecting GO Bus servingMcMaster University .There are extensive parking facilities on both the north and south of the station. A large multi-level parking structure is currently under construction (as of May, 2008) and set to open in the fall of 2008, significantly expanding the parking capacity of the station.
