Johannes Salmonsson (born 1986-02-07 in Uppsala, Sweden) is a Swedish ice hockey left wing. Salmonsson is in the Pittsburgh Penguins organization after being drafted in the 2nd round, 31st overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He currently plays for Rögle in the Elitserien, the Swedish Elite League, which is the top level of ice hockey in Sweden.

Club

Salmonsson began his professional career during the 2003-04 season with Djurgårdens, also of the Swedish Elite League. He then moved to North America after two seasons with Djurgårdens to play one season with the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League during 2005-06 season. International
