Mark Allinson is the current head of the University of Bristol's Department of German. He has published a number of books including Politics and Popular Opinion in East Germany, 1945 - 68 and Germany and Austria 1814 - 2000 among others. He offers a variety of courses concerned with the recent history of Germany and also lectures on the German language.[1][2][3][4]
