Luis Miguel Ramis Monfort (born July 25, 1970 in Tarragona, Spain) is a former football (soccer) defender. He started his career as a youth player with hometown club Gimnastic de Tarragona and then joined Real Madrid in 1991. He spent a season playing for the B and after that, was promoted to the first team. He was part of the team that won the 1994 Copa Iberoamericana, beating Boca Juniors 4-3 on aggregate. He moved to Tenerife shortly after the victory. After 2 seasons with the Chicharreros he was on the move again, this time to Sevilla. After a good season at Sevilla, he moved to giants Deportivo La Coruña, acting as mainly backup to Noureddine Naybet. Then, in 2000 he moved to Racing Santander. A year later he returned to his hometown club Gimnastic de Tarragona and spent his last season of playing at Racing de Ferrol.
