Bandō, Ibaraki

nihongo|Bandō|坂東市|Bandō-shi is a city located in Ibaraki, Japan. The city was formed on March 22, 2005 from the merger of the city of Iwai and the neighboring town of Sashima.

As of April 1, 2004 population data, the city has an estimated population of 57,901 and the density of 470 persons per km². The total area is 123.18 km².
