Péter Gulácsi (born May 6 1990) is a Hungarian footballer, currently playing for Liverpool. Liverpool signed Hungarian goalkeeper Gulacsi on the summer transfer deadline 2008, from MTK Hungaria, after he had spent a year on loan with the club.

Club career

Liverpool signed Gulácsi from MTK Hungaria for a one year loan in 2007, with the player competing in the treble winning reserve team. Liverpool had an option to buy him at the end of this loan deal, which they exercised on the last day of the transfer window, September 1 2008.

In May 2008 he received his first call up for Hungary and was an unused substitute in their 1-1 draw with Croatia.
