Frederick C. Anderson (March 24, 1843 – October 6, 1884) was a Private in the American Civil War serving in Company A of the 18th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry.

He was awarded the Medal of Honor on August 21, 1864 for his actions on September 6, 1864 at the Weldon Railroad in Virginia.

He is buried in the Anderson Family Cemetery Somerset Massachusetts.
