Jane Altschwager (born
8 March 1974 ) is a formerAustralia nnetball er, she started her netball career in 1994 playing for New South Wales, in theAustralian State Netball League . In 1997 it was the start of a new era theCommonwealth Bank Trophy she signed with theSydney Swifts the netball franchise four hours away from theHunter Jaegers franchise. She became co-captain in 1999. She left the franchise to the Hunter Jaegers in 2000 but then returned to Sydney Swifts until 2004 when she went back to the Jaegers. She then played as captain of the Jaegers until her retirement in 2007.Australian netball team
Altschwager was a part of the
Australian national netball team from 1999–2004 and has been to the 1999 World Netball Champs, 2002 Commonwealth Games and the 2003 World Netball Champs.Netball career
