Grand Hallway

Grand Hallway is an orchestral indie rock band from Seattle, Washington. It was founded in 2005 by singer/songwriter Tomo Nakayama (formerly of Asahi, Jen Wood), guitarist Jeramy Koepping (Voyager One), bassist Erik Numann, and drummer Bob Roberts.

They released their debut album, [http://www.cdbaby.com/grandhallway "Yes Is The Answer"] in 2007 in Japan on [http://www.v-again.co.jp/sideout/index.html Sideout Records] (home to Bright Eyes, Cursive, Nada Surf, and the Velvet Teen), and self-released in the US. Upon completion of the album, Alina To and Jaclyn Shumate joined the band on violins.

Following a tour of Japan with fellow Seattle band Arthur & Yu and Shugo Tokumaru, Grand Hallway released an EP, [http://www.cdbaby.com/grandhallway2 "We Flew Ephemera"] in February, 2008.

Grand Hallway will take part in the 2008 Sasquatch Festival in May.
