Institute of Nuclear Medicine, Oncology and Radiotherapy

The Institute of Nuclear Medicine, Oncology and Radiotherapy or INOR is located in Abbottabad, NWFP, Pakistan and affiliated with Ayub Medical College and the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission. It provides diagnostic and treatment facilities to patients suffering from a wide range of pathologies. The Institute is catering to a population of about 2 million people coming from various parts of Northern Pakistan. Over the years INOR has acquired a large array of modern equipment. It has fully equipped Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy Departments supported by Diagnostic Radiology Unit, Pathology Laboratory, Radioimmunoassay Laboratory and Department of Medical Physics.

Patient Care

Being a care centre the patients are referred to INOR from all the general hospitals of the Northern Areas of Pakistan. The patients are given priority appointment both for nuclear medicine scans and radiation treatment. However, critically ill patients are given priority over the scheduled appointments.
