Spencer Fearon (born
December 20 ,1973 ,London ,England ) is a boxing promoter and media personality, as well as technical advisor for Danny Williams and managing agent forAnthony Small .The self-styled "loudest mouth and most stylish dresser" in boxing, Fearon is a fixture at the major fights involving British fighters in this country and beyond.
A former boxer himself, fighting under the nickname 'The Spirit', he became the youngest ever black promoter in Britain, when promoting his first bill on
October 9 ,2007 .As well as being a partner and trainer at the Real Fight Club in London's Liverpool Street, where he counts England rugby star
Josh Lewsey among his clients, Fearon runs a property portfolio in London.Fearon has served as a commentator for Frank Warren tv and currently works for Setanta Sports where his interviews with the likes of
Joe Calzaghe ,David Haye andBuddy McGirt have aired on Setanta Sports News and [http://www.setantasports.com setantasports.com] .During his boxing career he was used as the model for the body graphics for popular computer game Shadowman in 1998.
Boxing career
After a promising amateur career, where he won the London ABA novices and London boys club welterweight titles, Fearon turned professional in 1997 and in a stop-start career compiled a record of 11-6 before retiring in 2003. His penultimate bout with David Walker was voted the 2003 fight of the year by the BBC website.
During his career, his flourishing media career began appearing in documentaries alongside childhood friend Danny Williams, featured in The Sun, The Voice and New Nation newspapers and showcased his interviewing skills and range of impressions on Sky Sports.
