- Eduardo Lemaitre
Eduardo Lemaitre Roman (b.1914 - d. 1994) is a famous writer, historian, and politician of Cartagena, Colombia. He held the positions of Representative (1943), Senator (1950) and Governor (1962) of the Department of Bolivar. He also served as Ambassador to the United Nations and UNESCO.
Eduardo Lemaitre remains a preeminent historian for Cartagena. History books he authored include:
