Plashes Wood (gbmapping|TL382206) is a 71.9 hectare (117.6 acre) Biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in East Hertfordshire. The site was notified in 1984 under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Much of the site is made up of Oak/Hornbeam woodland. The site is also home to marshland clearings and ponds.
