Alan R. Katritzky (August 13, 1928 – ) is a British-American chemist, now working at the University of Florida.

Katritzky studied at the University of Oxford and received his BS in 1959. After he got his Ph.D from University of Cambridge in 1963 he became professor at the University of East Anglia. In 1980 he changed to the University of Florida.
