Austhovde Headland

Austhovde Headland

Austhovde Headland (coord|69|42|S|37|46|E|) is an icy headland, marked by several rock exposures, which forms the eastern, elevated portion of Botnneset Peninsula on the south side of Lutzow-Holm Bay. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37, and named "Austhovde" ("east knoll").
