Austranten Rock

Austranten Rock (coord|71|24|S|14|2|E|) is an isolated rock outcrop lying 2 miles (3.2 km) southeast of Todt Ridge, at the eastern extremity of the Gruber Mountains and Wohlthat Mountains, in Queen Maud Land. Discovered and plotted from air photos by German Antarctic Expedition, 1938-39. Replotted from air photos and surveys by Norwegian Antarctic Expedition, 1956-60, and named "Austranten" ("the east ridge").
