The Collège de la Sagesse Ashrafieh was founded in 1875 by Beirut's Bishop Elias Hanna Debs. It is located in the street which bears its name (Sagesse Street) in the Ashrafieh district of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. It is a private school, it offers French education for about 1,500 students, and it is one of the best schools (and the almost the oldest) in Lebanon.
