Jacquinot Rocks

Jacquinot Rocks (coord|63|26|S|58|24|W|) is a group of rocks about midway between Hombron Rocks and Cape Ducorps and 1 mile (1.6 km) off the north coast of Trinity Peninsula. Charted in 1946 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) who named the rocks for Honore Jacquinot, surgeon with the French expedition under Captain Jules Dumont d'Urville which explored this coast in 1838.
