Katutura

Katutura is a suburb of Namibia's capital of Windhoek in the Khomas Region [ [http://www.namibweb.com/hiskat.htm NamibWeb.com - The online guide to Namibia: History of Old Location and Katutura ] ] . It was the blacks-only suburb created in 1961 following the forced removal of Windhoek's black population from the Old Location, which is within the city. Sam Nujoma Stadium, which was built in 2005, is located within Katutura. Katutura Community Radio, a community-based radio station, also operates from the suburb.
